Treta Opportunities Fund is a SEBI approved Category II AIF. The AIF has launched its first scheme Treta Residential Fund 1 and is in fund raising mode. The scheme is focused in Residential Real Estate sector. Treta has plans to launch further schemes in the future subject to regulatory approvals.

 

Background to the role

 

Treta plans to offer its products (current and future AIF /PMS) products through a network of wealth management firms, multi-family office advisors, distribution partners, private banks and independent financial advisors. This is an entrepreneurial role and the AIF being a new entrant will offer the candidate exposure in product management and business development. The incumbent should be a self-motivated, result- oriented professional who is able to work with the highest degree of ethics. The candidate should have a sense of ownership in the business to participate in the growth story of the AIF.

 

Role and responsibilities

 

The Business Development Manager will be responsible to develop the distribution network of the firm. She / He will lead the fund raising functions for the AIF.

·         The ideal candidate is expected to have performed similar activities in previous roles and have relationships with product managers of leading advisory, wealth management firms, private banks, family offices, multi-family offices.

·         Connect with the her/his existing relationship among the above entities to place the Treta AIF products.

·         Form new partnerships with Wealth Managers, IFAs (Independent Financial Advisors), and Distributors for the firm's current and future products.

·         Facilitate fund manager presentation and interaction with clients, product managers and distributors through physical mode and online mode.

·         Demonstrated track record of raising capital through distributors and channel partners. 

·         Drive Distributor tie-ups.

Education

 

Graduate or Post-Graduate degree from reputed institutions 

 

Compensation and designation

 

Total compensation will be commensurate with experience, market trends, and current salary drawn.
